Kasbah de Thami Glaoui<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Aunque el exterior de la kasbah parece bastante deteriorado, conserva algunas de las decoraciones andalus\u00edes m\u00e1s exquisitas, con techos de cedro pintado que recuerdan la arquitectura de Marrakech y Fez. Construida en 1860, la kasbah era propiedad de la familia Glaoui. A principios del siglo XX, Thami Glaoui gobern\u00f3 Marrakech, y la kasbah se convirti\u00f3 en una de sus residencias oficiales. Thami no escatim\u00f3 esfuerzos para transformarla en palacio. La kasbah es testimonio de una rica historia. Taourirt se construy\u00f3 en el\u00a0Siglo XVII,<\/strong>\u00a0con su ampliaci\u00f3n y reestructuraci\u00f3n llevada a cabo por Hammadi Glaoui, hermano de Madani, en 1882. La historia de Taourirt comenz\u00f3 en tiempos del sult\u00e1n Mly Abderrahman ben Hicham, que nombr\u00f3 jefe de Glaoua, Ouaouzguit e Imeghran a Mohammed Ibibt El Mezouari, de Telouet.<\/p>

Posteriormente, el nuevo Caid inici\u00f3 una estrategia de adquisici\u00f3n de tierras del sudeste. En aquella \u00e9poca, Taourirt estaba bajo la autoridad de los ca\u00efds de\u00a0Tamnougalt<\/strong>. Esta autoridad pas\u00f3 a Telouet en 1874, cuando Mohamed Ibibt se hizo cargo de Si El Abbas. El dominio de los Glaoua se estableci\u00f3 entonces mediante alianzas matrimoniales.<\/p>

A la muerte de Amghar Mohamed o Hmad o Abou, Si Hammadi el Glaoui se cas\u00f3 con su viuda Lalla Sfia Hmad. Su sobrino (hijo de Mohamed Ibibt) se cas\u00f3 con Lalla Ijja Hmad, hermana de Amghar. Gracias a estas conexiones, los Glaoua se hicieron con el control de Taourirt y Ouarzazate, sobre todo tras el reinado del sult\u00e1n Hassan I. Si Hammadi el Glaoui gobern\u00f3 hasta su muerte en 1937, gracias a su hermano Pasha Thami y a la destreza militar de su sobrino Hammou el Glaoui. La familia conserv\u00f3 el control de Taourirt con Mohamed ben Hammadi. En 1940, Mohamed El Mahdi ben Hammadi gobern\u00f3 Taourirt hasta la Independencia.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

La danza ahwach es un baile folcl\u00f3rico destacado en la regi\u00f3n, y algunos historiadores creen que apareci\u00f3 por primera vez en Telouet.
