Kasbah di Thami Glaoui<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sebbene l'esterno della kasbah appaia piuttosto fatiscente, presenta ancora alcune delle pi\u00f9 raffinate decorazioni andaluse, con soffitti in cedro dipinto che ricordano l'architettura di Marrakech e Fes. Costruita nel 1860, la kasbah era di propriet\u00e0 della famiglia Glaoui. All'inizio del 1900, Thami Glaoui governava Marrakech e la kasbah divenne una delle sue residenze ufficiali. Taourirt \u00e8 stato costruito nel\u00a0XVII secolo,<\/strong>\u00a0con la sua espansione e ristrutturazione realizzata da Hammadi Glaoui, fratello di Madani, nel 1882. La storia di Taourirt inizia all'epoca del sultano Mly Abderrahman ben Hicham, che nomin\u00f2 Mohammed Ibibt El Mezouari di Telouet capo di Glaoua, Ouaouzguit e Imeghran.<\/p>

In seguito, il nuovo Caid avvi\u00f2 una strategia di acquisizione di terre dal sud-est. A quel tempo, Taourirt era sotto l'autorit\u00e0 dei Caid di\u00a0Tamnougalt<\/strong>. L'autorit\u00e0 si spost\u00f2 a Telouet nel 1874, quando Mohamed Ibibt prese il controllo di Si El Abbas. Il dominio dei Glaoua si stabil\u00ec allora attraverso alleanze matrimoniali.<\/p>

Alla morte di Amghar Mohamed o Hmad o Abou, Si Hammadi el Glaoui spos\u00f2 la vedova Lalla Sfia Hmad. Suo nipote (figlio di Mohamed Ibibt) spos\u00f2 Lalla Ijja Hmad, sorella di Amghar. Grazie a questi legami, i Glaoua affermarono il loro controllo su Taourirt e Ouarzazate, in particolare dopo il regno del sultano Hassan 1\u00b0. Si Hammadi el Glaoui regn\u00f2 fino alla sua morte, avvenuta nel 1937, grazie al fratello Pasha Thami e all'abilit\u00e0 militare del nipote Hammou el Glaoui. La famiglia mantenne il controllo di Taourirt con Mohamed ben Hammadi. La danza Ahwach \u00e8 una delle danze folcloristiche pi\u00f9 importanti della regione e alcuni storici ritengono che sia apparsa per la prima volta a Telouet.
